The Fant bakery in Mas di Sedico, in the province of Belluno, has installed an Eliwell Memory 1000 multichannel data logger to monitor the temperature of its cold storage facilities. Practical and intuitive, it helps ensure total food safety in line with HACCP regulations.

The device, which combines the power of a monitoring system with the userfriendliness of a data logger, was installed to keep constant check on the internal temperatures of a milk refrigerator, a refrigerator used to store yeasts, and two chest freezers.

Victor Fant says: “Thanks to Memory 1000, we can rest assured that everything is under control at all times; if the temperature rises above the set threshold, an alarm is transmitted to my mobile phone.” Fants says both instrument and system software are straightforward to use. He is able to set recording intervals and check readings on a large backlit display.
