Laidler Associates is running its
University Certificate in Professional
Development (UCPD) on European
Machinery Safety.

The course includes a week’s
classroom training which covers the
regulatory framework relating to
machine safety and will inform
attendees on CE Marking, PUWER,
Mechanincal EN Standards, Electrical
EN Standards, and Practical Risk
Assessment. Once the training is
complete the students then have 16-
weeks of distance learning to
complete their final assessment. The
UCPD course is university accredited
and it offers successful participants
university credits that can be used
towards formal qualifications.
