ToughPIX 2300XP Series, is a new
brand of explosion proof, digital
camera from CorDEX Instruments.

This series features an onboard
memory of up to 8GB. Images are
transferred via high
speed USB to a PC in a
safe area.

The IP54 camera body
is made from anodised
aluminium with antistatic
over mould. It has
a backlit, armoured glass, 2.4in LCD
screen for image capture and instant
review in the field and incorporates
onboard, fully automatic strobe flash
for image capture in extreme, low
light environments. The series also
introduces red-eye reduction to the
feature set. All access controls are
located so that even if the user is
wearing thick protective gloves the
camera is easy to use.

The series is ATEX
certified for image capture
within a Zone1 IIC T4
hazardous area. These
models have no need for
a hot work permit.
