announced the addition of the
Cognex Checker vision sensor to its
portfolio.

The Checker is a comprehensive,
cost effective, easily configurable
sensor that detects and inspects
critical processes during production
to ensure they are performed
correctly.

Typical quality control
applications include: checking of best
before dates; the correct positioning
and placement of products in their
packaging (for example if a case of
wine has been accurately fulfiled
with 12 bottles); fill levels on
products (such as cans of paint or
bottles of liquids); correct placement
of labels, seals and bottle tops; and
other pack placements in
products.
