Levelling system released

PRÜFTECHNIK Alignment Systems announces the availability of LEVALIGN expert, a new levelling and flatness system based on the ROTALIGN Ultra Expert World platform.

PRÜFTECHNIK Alignment Systems announces the availability of LEVALIGN expert, a new levelling and flatness system based on the ROTALIGN Ultra Expert World platform.

The company says: “LEVALIGN expert has been proven to be extremely powerful in solving problems related to flatness and parallelism of wind tower segment flanges, levelness of machinery foundations, flatness and straightness measurements in the shipbuilding industry, levelness of reference surfaces and bases, turbine half casings and many other surface profiles.

“The many measurements carried out since the product launch demonstrates that this versatile system will add considerably to the geometric measurement platform of PRUFTECHNIK products. Through its one man operation easy set up and implementation, complex measurements can be performed quickly and efficiently.”

The measuring system consists of the motorised LEVALIGN expert laser and a sensor coupled by wireless communication to the ROTALIGN Ultra computer, the system requires only a single operator to measure large vertical and horizontal surfaces over distances up to 100 meters.

The company adds: “LEVALIGN expert is self-levelling device making set up and measurement a breeze. The systems long measurement range combined with a large surface area sensor detector plus ability to emit a laser beam in two perpendicular planes makes it ideal for measuring parallelism and other advanced applications.

“In basing this system on the ROTALIGN Ultra platform existing users have a seamless upgrade path without the extra cost of purchase of new computers or ancillary components, this underpins the whole development philosophy of the company; seamless upgrade and compatibility with existing products.”
