While FDL Packaging Group has
been offering tapered steel drums of
up to 120L capacity for
a number of years, its
new Mauser range
offers drums in
capacities of up to 218L.

The drums are
designed to ‘nest’
inside one another,
regardless of filling
volume, reducing
transport costs and warehouse space
requirements. The drums can also be
neatly palletised.

Made from mild steel in 0.6 to
0.8mm thicknesses, with a single
hoop to ensure stiffness and with
easy filling and emptying, the conical
steel drums have the flexibility to
offer multi-use applications and are
suitable for hydroscopic and hotpour
products even
with high density,
giving a filling volume
from 175 to 218L.

Specially
designed to be used
in the food
industry in
conjunction with
aseptic bags, they can
be externally coated in a range of
colours and internally lacquered.
