As exclusive UK agent for WARDJet,
Wightman Stewart reports a high
degree of interest in customised
waterjet cutting systems.

One of the latest developments is
a customised JX-7032 pure water
waterjet cutting table which has a 7
by 3.2m cutting envelope and four
independent cutting heads. It also has
an integrated shuttle table handling
system with two 7m shuttle tables at
the front and rear of the machine.

The cutting table has an unlimited
number of configurations based on
the sheet width variation. This allows
the user to easily manoeuvre the
materials into any position. For
continuous, high speed cutting at up
to 50in/sec, four cutting heads are
included that can be positioned
anywhere along the cutting gantry.

Other recent customised solutions
include self loading tables; the
retrofit of plasma cutters alongside
waterjet cutting heads, 4th axis
rotary chuck for specialist tubing and
additional drilling, tapping heads
and height sensor.
