Plasma Clean has launched Xtract
1100, a low power, cost effective,
intense ionisation unit that is used to
treat odour emissions and airborne
infections inside commercial HVAC
systems in public and private
buildings.

Designed to be retrofitted to the
outside of existing HVAC ductwork,
the unit is lightweight and compact
so that it fits easily outside the main
HVAC system where space is often at
a premium or where there is little
load bearing capacity.

Units use plasma ionisation
technology to create high levels of
charged ions which are injected into
the ventilation ductwork where they
disperse. Ionised air attacks stubborn
odours, helping to sanitise the system
by removing micro-organisms such
as mould, fungus, bacteria and viruses.
