RRC has launched a new NEBOSH
Award in Safety,Health and
Environment for the process
industries. Designed to provide
process operators and technicians
with an understanding of health,
safety and environmental
management within the process
industries, it is aimed at those
working (or wishing to work) in
sectors such as the chemical,
pharmaceutical, petrochemical and
food processing industries.

This introductory qualification
covers common issues affecting all
these industries, such as major
accident regulation, human error,
plant integrity, emergency
preparedness, risk management and
environmental protection. It also
provides an effective introduction to
other NEBOSH qualifications, including
the National General Certificate.
