Hidrostal UK has launched a range
of portable, solids-handling, dieseldriven
pump sets under the brand
name SuperHawk. They feature the
company’s centrifugal screw impeller
and an automatic dry-priming
system and are available in 3, 4, 6
and 8in models, with additional
models planned for later release.
Julian Williams, product manager,
said: “The new SuperHawk range
represents an economical and
environmentally friendly option for
users of transportable diesel pumps.

Extensive field trials by our hire
partners over 12 months have
indicated that the litres-per-hour fuel
consumption of some SuperHawk
models could be five times lower
than that of equivalent competitor
pump-sets. This should translate into
immediate cost savings for mobile
pump users who switch to
SuperHawk as well as a reduction in
environmental impact.”
The SuperHawk 100-4 model can
run at full load for 24/7
on only one standard tank of fuel.
