Fläkt Woods has launched a series of
energy recovery units. E3co Crown
has high efficiency EUROVENTcertified
counter flow
aluminium heat plate
exchangers, which are
used to help capture
the energy contained
in normally exhausted
buildings and use it to
treat incoming outdoor ventilation
air, giving energy recovery
efficiencies that are said to be in
excess of 90%.

Features include fans with EC
motor technology that exceeds the
specified Ecodesign targets set for
2015. The modular construction has
complete thermal bridging features
to minimise losses, and seals that
recover their state if panels are
removed to ensure
an airtight seal.

Units are compact,
self-regulating and
adjust themselves
automatically,
according to load. They
give up to 2.0m3/sec air flow rates,
and have vertical and horizontal
mounting configurations.
