When Wood Group PSN started a
maintenance services contract for a
gas production facility in north west
Australia, the company needed a
Computerised Maintenance
Management System which was
compatible with existing systems.

As part of the tender,Wood
Group PSN had to show that its
maintenance management systems
were effective, flexible and compatible
with requirements. The project
needed asset management, planned
maintenance and routine testing
schedules and the chosen system
needed to be rolled out quickly.

Wood Group PSN identified
Agility from SoftSols, with its simple
web-based user interface, as meeting
its requirements. The build and
implementation of the Agility system
took place during the construction
commissioning phase of the project,
and as work progressed, Agility was
refined to fit requirements. Custom
KPIs which could be monitored in
real time were also created. The
system’s equipment management
functions and PPM scheduling were
considered key advantages.

Wood Group PSN needed a
CMMS that was flexible, quick to
implement and cost effective. Agility
delivered on all requirements.
