Irisys has launched a lower cost
thermal camera to its feature-rich,
user-friendly IR16D series.

Designed for mechanical
and electrical maintenance
engineers, the IR16DE’s high
quality images can be
captured and manipulated in
the camera, allowing problems
to be resolved on the spot. The
picture-in-picture feature allows
the image to be displayed within a
wider visible picture aiding location
of a faulty component. Images
can be downloaded to a PC
for analysis and reporting.

The camera comes with a
31/2in display, providing clear images
in difficult locations; an LED
illuminator allows the visible camera
to function in low light
environments.

Applications include
electrical and mechanical
inspections, predictive
and preventative
maintenance, process
monitoring, HVAC & R
trouble-shooting and
maintenance, general industrial
and domestic inspection.

The IR16DS has the
additional capability of multiple
viewing options, fully fused thermal
and visual images, alarms, and
sequence recording.
