Facom has developed a new
range of electronic torque and
angle wrenches and is offering
IP&E readers a chance to win one of
the tools*.

The E.316 torque and angle
wrenches are intended for use where
accuracy and reliability are key
considerations, including industrial
and automotive, aviation and
engineering industries.

The range can withstand intensive
use and will maintain calibration for
both torque and angles to ±2%, is
resistant to workshop chemicals,
offers USB computer link-up to
download data and preset values and
is designed for easy use.

An auto-test facility means the
wrench tests itself prior to use for
optimum accuracy. Users receive
audible and visual cues when torque
is applied and the ability to store
nine preset values allows for staged
tightening procedures.

A simple method of setting torque
without the use of dials or rotating
handles makes the wrenches intuitive
and easy to operate and by providing
PC data transfer via a USB link, the
user can store up to 250 torque
values on a PC.

The E.316 series of torque and
angle wrenches range from 1.5 to
340Nm capacity, and have a two-year
warranty and calibration certificate.
