Logistics and material flow
systems supplier, SSI Schaefer,
is exhibiting for the first time at
Southern Manufacturing this year.

SSI Schaefer has developed a
partnering approach to business,
working hand-in-hand with its
customers to develop, design and
implement innovative yet cost
effective solutions for each project.

Typical products are storage and
transport containers, shelf storage
systems, pallet racks, long load racks
and mobile racking systems, which
combine with automated picking
systems to form the basis of
manually operated or fully integrated
storage solutions.

In one application example,
Komori UK, an SME manufacturer
and supplier of printing production
equipment and machinery, has
achieved a 50% reduction in pallet
racking floor space thanks to the
installation of a more cost-effective
mobile system designed by SSI
Schaefer.

The reduction in pallet racking
floor space meant Komori was able
to reduce its required spend when
looking at new premises to move to.
