from the Automated Material
Handling Systems Association
(AMHSA) at its forthcoming
symposium will be loud and clear –
automate or stagnate.

Taking place on 2 May 2012, the
event will feature an impressive lineup
of speakers including Lord Digby
Jones, former director general of the
CBI and Minister of UK Trade &
Investment, who will give the keynote
address. With Silverstone as its venue,
the symposium – ‘Future Material
Handling: Getting on track to win’ –
will examine likely technological
advances and human resource trends
in the logistics sector over the next
five years. It will also provide a forum
in which to debate the current and
future role of automation in the supply
chain.
