Nabtesco Precision Europe has
introduced a new gear head series.

The RD2 series not only features
specifications that make it suitable
for demanding reduction tasks, it is
delivered ready for installation.

New to this series are the
expanded mounting options: RD2
gears are also suitable for belt-drive
operation or can be installed at right
angles. This makes the series more
flexible, allowing the customer to
choose which drive type to use.

The reduction gear heads combine
the advantages of RV trochoidal gears
with easy mounting. The gear head is
closed and filled with grease ready
for installation. An adapter plate and
motor shaft coupling are included.

Nabtesco offers gear variants with
and without a hollow shaft.

“Switching from the old series to
the new RD2 series is easy, since the
mounting dimensions and boring
patterns are identical,” says Marcus
Löw, manager sales department.
