TDT Technology has announced a
sales and service centre agreement
with Tecnomagnete spa of Italy to
market its range of magnetic work
holding equipment.

The new Tecnomagnete MillTec
range of permanent-electro magnetic
systems for milling applications shows
the innovative products available.

The Quadsystem Monolite is a new
generation of solid block construction
that has no assembled mechanical
components. The magnet is machined
from solid and the clamping surface
is metallic so there is no need for
sealing resin. The magnet is switched
on with a short pulse of electricity
and stays on with maximum clamping
force until it is switched off with a
similar pulse. During the magnetised
phase no electricity is consumed.

Further benefits of the magnet are
reduced weight and increased
clamping forces.
