The main focus with cable glands is
on edge protection, reliable sealing
and strain relief of conducted cables.

Recognising the importance of these
factors, Pflisch in its UNI Dicht (top
pic) and blueglobe are made of metal
and high grade plastic with a large
surface, spherical sealing.

The high grade sealing insert
nestles axially and radially against
the cable, ensuring ‘soft pinching’
and preventing damage to the cable.

Irreparable constrictions are said to
be foiled, a longer service ensured
and maximum safety guaranteed.

This has been verified in various
vibration tests. The cable glands
attain IP68 and IP69.

Pflitsch has now added
MatchClamp, a non-detachable cable
entry. This pinches cables gently and
means they can be led simply into,
for example, plugs or housings,
saving space. Water and gas-proof,
they attain, as standard, IP68 and up
to 10 times strain relief.
