New to the UK but not to the
rest of the world, US-based
Werner has launched more
than 110 different products. The
line-up consists of stepladders,
combination ladders, loft ladders,
extension ladders, roof ladders and
work platforms.

The company says the health and
safety benefits of fibreglass have led
to this material accounting for 50%
of the US market, and the new
Werner range includes fibreglass
swingback and platform stepladders
which are available as either ‘trade’ or
‘industrial’ options.

The ‘trade’ fibreglass swingback
stepladder is available in seven
versions with reach heights of 1.99 to
4.32m, while the platform alternative
offers six options with reach heights
from 2.69 to 4.55m. The ‘industrial’
swingback also comes in seven
versions and up to 14 treads, and the
platform alternative in six versions
with up to 12 treads.

All Werner fibreglass ladders have
fibreglass stiles, non-conductive to
30,000 volts, which are suitable for
working in the proximity of
electricity.
