operated valves. The Type 3725
Positioner is a development of
Samson’s Series 373x
units and
provides a
compact, rugged
and easy-to-use
device.

A simple, selfcalibrating
positioner, it is suitable
for less sophisticated control
requirements. It is suitable for precise
and reliable control of small or large
flows occurring in food processing,
pulp and paper or bottling plants.

It features the best of the Samson
3730-1/3760 positioners, combining
the ‘smart’ features and LCD with a
black, UV-resistant polyphthalamide
housing and transparent blue
polycarbonate cover.

Data input and start-up is a
simple process
due to autotuning,
while
position sensing
is contactless,
performed using
an AMR sensor. This affords
flexibility and enables the device to
remain insensitive to vibrations, such
as those generated by steam hammer.
