Founded in 1984 with a presence in over 50 countries worldwide, EPLAN advises companies on process optimisation, develops software-based engineering solutions for mechatronics and implements tailored CAD, PDM, PLM and ERP interfaces in order to accelerate product development processes and reduce engineering costs.

The EPLAN software ‘platform’ uses an interdisciplinary approach by connecting expert systems for various engineering disciplines such as electrical engineering, fluid power engineering and EI&C engineering as well as control cabinet manufacturing. All applications are equipped with the same data and functions, which support a high level of project quality and a mechatronic working method.

In addition, comprehensive services such as consultancy on variant management and configuration, standardisation, automation and integration, implementation, training and support services are all part of the EPLAN portfolio.
