Inverter Fusion has extended its
range of professional welding
machines with the Fusion 175MA,
which has a 60% duty cycle for
welding with electrodes up to 5mm at
175A. With a higher open circuit
voltage it can easily weld mild steel
and low hydrogen electrodes and is
said to make an excellent choice for
general stick welding and
maintenance operations.

The Fusion 175MA is lightweight,
at only 8kg, and comes in IFL’s robust
toughened nylon case. The controls
are intuitive and easy to use and the
new, electronically controlled
‘automatic arc force’, ‘hot start’ and
‘anti-stick down’ circuits ensure
smooth, uninterrupted welding.
