Thermal Energy International will
be introducing its Ceramic
Microfiltration System (CMF) to
visitors at Maintec 2010. Said to be
capable of providing a return on
investment in less than two years, the
CMF reduces water use and can
reduce energy consumption by also
recovering the heat in wastewater.

Suspended and emulsified
contaminants are removed, producing
a water quality which, the company
says, is often better than that of the
raw water stock from which the
effluent was produced.

The company will have a working
filter module at the show and, by
prior arrangement, visitors may
bring a small sample of effluent to
test the effectiveness of the equipment.

Thermal Energy will also exhibit
its GEM Venturi orifice steamtraps,
and its Flu-Ace boiler efficiency
technology system will also be on the
