Telonic Instruments has introduced
a low cost, high quality digital
spectrum analyser which is
manufactured in China by Rigol.

The DSA815 incorporates Rigol’s
proven all digital IF design
technology and has the ability to
measure and distinguish between
small signals to a frequency
difference of only 100Hz. Telonic
says greater reliability is obtained
compared with traditional analogue
designs as the digital IF reduces the
complexity of the hardware. Digital
technology improves the bandwidth
precision and the selectivity of the
filter, minimising scanning time and
improving measuring times.

It is available in a 9kHz to 1.5GHz
frequency range, with a typical -135
dBm displayed average noise level for
accurate measurements.
