Lang Technik UK targets growth in automation systems as it unveils new showroom
ONE OF the UK’s leading 5-axis workholding and automation systems specialists has unveiled its new showroom

Lang Technik UK, which works with many of the world’s leading machine tool suppliers, has invested heavily into converting a 2000 sq ft facility near Banbury into a dedicated space for showcasing its growing range of products that reduce set-up times, increase productivity and boost manufacturing capacity.
The rural setting in Wroxton has been fitted out with the firm’s zero point clamping, workholding and automation products, with clients able to witness live demonstrations of technology used to support many of the Formula 1 teams on the grid, car suppliers, next generation aircraft development, defence and complex medical devices.
“Demand for our solutions in the UK has grown between 10-15% every year since we first launched in 2019,” explained Danny Brook, sales director at Lang Technik UK. “Our workholding and clamping products have traditionally been the core offer, but in recent years we have started to introduce new automation systems that are really making a difference to productivity on shopfloors across the country.
“We were increasingly being asked for live demonstrations so felt the time was right to add a dedicated showroom in the UK. A building came up in Wroxton that we could transform to meet our exact specifications and, importantly, boasted fantastic rural views,” he continued.
“In fact, we’ve designed it so there’s lots of meeting space for clients to hold away days here – giving them an opportunity to get away from the daily industrial hustle and bustle.”
Lang Technik UK was formed in 2019 by Gareth Barnett and Alena Saroka to service existing clients and grow new business opportunities in the UK.
As the company’s portfolio of products increased, a new HQ in Haddenham was opened in 2024 and new members of the team have continued to be added to meet demand, with nine full-time staff now guiding customers involved in a multitude of sectors.
The latest recruit is industry expert Gerry Cook, who has been appointed to cover and grow sales in the South East.
“If you’re looking to maximise performance and reduce changeover times for your CNC milling machine than our solutions can help – it’s as simple as that,” Brook added.
“Whether it’s the pre-stamping technology that allows the workpiece to be stamped outside of the machine tool, or the increasingly popular Quick•Point Rail System that eliminates the need for a zero-point base plate, the Lang Technik brand is trusted by machine tool specialists and sub-contract manufacturers alike.
“A large part of this success is our desire to work together with industry to address emerging pain points through new product and system introductions – a fact we reinforced earlier this year, with one of the busiest MACH shows we’ve ever had,” he concluded.
