The 8HT-TI features abrasion-resistant thermoplastic elastomer foam extruded directly onto the hose, allowing the hose and its insulation to function as a single integrated component. The insulation helps maintain fluid temperature during operation, reducing heat loss and contributing to lower energy consumption in high-temperature systems. It also supports operator safety by helping limit exposure to hot hose surfaces.

By limiting heat dispersion, the product can help reduce energy consumption and improve overall system efficiency. The insulation also helps prevent condensation-related issues, supporting cleaner and more reliable operation in sensitive or enclosed installations.

Thanks to its tight bend radius, the new hose supports compact routing even in installations where space is limited. Compatible with the company’s 82 series fittings, the 8HT-TI hose uses the Push-Lok connection system, enabling fast, simple, and reliable assembly without the need for costly, time-consuming crimping. The result is easier installation, shorter assembly times, and greater flexibility for OEMs, maintenance teams, and system designers.

The 8HT-TI hose is intended for systems operating with hot water, with continuous use at temperatures up to 120°C and short-term peak resistance up to 140°C. Typical applications include industrial hot water circuits, injection molding equipment, heated presses, tempering units, energy chains, and installations where thermal stability, reliable hose operation, limited installation space, and compact routing are important requirements.
