Maruyama’s power tools,
distributed in the UK by
DMMP, have performed well
in trials carried out by
Eastleigh Borough Council,
resulting in an order.

The Maruyama range
includes trimmers and brush
cutters, multicutter systems,
edgers, blowers, hedge
trimmers and accessories but
it was the Multi-Cutter with
Landscape Blade and the new
Brush Cutter BC-V Plus that
were tested. The former was
used around housing estates,
roadsides and gardens.

In addition to stopping
debris, stones and grass from
becoming airborne, the
product kept dog faeces on
the ground. A reduction in
downtime spent loading
nylon cord and brush cutter
heads was also reported. The
Council has since ordered a
number of the Multi-Cutters
with Landscape Blade.
