AddisonMckee has been
appointed to install another
of its DB150 ESRB tube
bending machnes into the
Munich plant of a major
supplier to a prestigious
german truck manufacturer.

The all-electric multistack
12-axis CNC bender is
said to be 30% quicker per
manufacturing cycle than
some conventional bending
machines and features
component accuracy and
repeatability.

The DB150 ESRB has
been designed to reduce tube
scrap and improve process
cycle time at larger tube
diameters on tight multiradii.

There are green
benefits too, with the
elimination of all hydraulic
functions and the retention
of speed, power and
flexibility that is said to
reasult in a rigid, clean and
quiet unit with automatic
repeatable slide setting for
tool chage.
