SCHAD has announced a global
partnership with Vanderlande
Industries, a specialist in automated
material handling systems used, for
example, by manufacturing and
logistics departments. As part of the
agreement, Vanderlande Industries
will be launching its Mobile
Maintenance Solution (MMS) which
integrates SCADA with enterprise
asset management solutions such as
IBM Maximo. SCHAD worked with
Vanderlande to develop the solution
as a maintenance management tool.

Vanderlande Industries’ site based
teams will be able to monitor system
performance from any location using
any mobile device over Wi-Fi or GPRS.

The system gives seamless
integration between the SCADA
system and IBM’s MAXIMO
maintenance system.
