More than 21,000 visitor attended
MACH 2012, a fitting tribute to an
event that this year celebrated its
centenary. Organised by the MTA
(Manufacturing Technologies
Association), MACH is the UK’s
biggest exhibition dedicated to
advanced and precision
manufacturing technologies and
takes place every two years.

A celebratory reception was held
recently at the Manufacturing
Technology Centre at Ansty Park,
Coventry, where guests had the
opportunity to tour the new facilities
and discover more about the history
of the exhibition.

The MTA has also scoured its
archives to create a commemorative
book – Centure of Innovation – which
tells how the event has adapted to
changing technology in often
challenging economic conditions.

The next MACH will take place
from 7th to 11th April 2014 at the
NEC, Birmingham.
