A new production facility at
McVities in Glasgow has
started out on a firm footing
with the installation of a
range of hygienic floor
finishes from Flowcrete.

The project included
application of Flowcrete
Flowfresh RT for the main
thoroughfares of Line 14 at
the Tollcross-based plant.

This provides McVities with
both a textured fnish for slip
resistance and a surface that
is easy to clean and maintain.

The smoother finished
Flowcrete Flowfresh MF was
applied in areas immediately
below Line 14.
Flowfresh uses the natural
power of silver to protect
surfaces and can control up
to 99.9% of bacterial microbes.

The Flowfresh floor on
Line 14 is suppported by
Flowcrete’s high strength
screed, Isocrete Isopol.

For Line19, Hydraseal and
Flowcrete HF were applied
across 1200m2. It was installed
in four weeks under two
phases in a ‘live’ working
environment and involved
the sheeting up of the area to
ensure the smooth running
of the site.
