A conveyor system based on modules
with integral mechanical and
electrical connectivity that can be put
into operation by end-users is
available from European Conveyor
Systems. Developed by Gebhardt
Fördertechnik, System 600 is designed
to provide flexibility in warehouses
that need to respond to changing
demands without installing a
permanent dedicated conveyor
system for every requirement.

The standard system uses energyefficient
24V drive motors and can
carry containers of various types
weighing up to 50kg. A 400V version
is also available. No air supply is
needed. Both types incorporate
integral powered rollers, transfer
function, RFID sensors, mechanical
and electrical connections, and PLCbased
controllers.
