EnerSys has extended its Hawker
XFC range with two new models.

Both batteries are designed for lowduty
pallet truck applications where
operators want to maintain
availability of equipment without the
cost of additional infrastructure.

The Hawker XFC-Li uses advanced
lithium-ion technology. It is a 24V
battery with 38Ah capacity. Benefits
claimed include greater power
density, longer pack life and excellent
performance at low temperatures. It
can be fully recharged in less than 1h
from 80% depth of discharge; short,
opportunity charges are accepted.

The second battery is a 24V model
with 82Ah capacity which is based
on the same thin plate pure lead
(TPPL) technology used in the
existing Hawker XFC range. A full
recharge can be completed in less
than 3h from 60% depth of discharge.
