International support services and
construction group, Interserve, has
been awarded the British Safety
Council International Safety Award
2013 for its industrial services work.

This puts it in the top 5% of UK
companies to have been accredited
with a Distinction, and the only
company to have achieved it on its
first attempt.
As part of the award Interserve
had to demonstrate that it promotes
a positive safety culture, has
comprehensive health and safety
policies in place and, a marked
commitment to health and safety
from the shop floor to the
boardroom. In addition, it had to
demonstrate health and safety
management competence and
provide clear improvements in health
and safety during 2012.
