Yokogawa Europe Solutions has
been awarded a contract by GDF
Suez E&P UK to supply the
integrated control and safety systems
(ICSS) for its new Cygnus
Development Project, which consists
of four greenfield offshore platforms.

Yokogawa Europe Solutions will
supply the ICSS comprising the
following systems: process control,
process shutdown, emergency
shutdown, fire and gas detection,
process data historian, and field
device asset management.

Yokogawa will also supply an
operator training system using
OmegaLand advanced operator
simulation environment.
