Foam Techniques produces
specialist insulation components for
a wide range of HVAC applications.

Melamine-based foams, for
example, are widely used in the
manufacture of solar panels and as a
thermal insulation layer within
commercial heating systems. They
have Class O fire performance
certification, are lightweight and
offer good thermal insulation and
sound absorption properties.

The company’s closed-cell
polyethylene thermal insulation foam
products are used in some
commercial air conditioning units to
reduce sweating and condensation.

Foam Techniques has also developed
non-woven, lightweight flexible
materials suitable for use around
water tanks. These offer high levels of
thermal insulation at low thicknesses.
