Foremans Relocatable
Building Systems, a supplier
of pre-owned Portakabin
buildings, is helping more businesses
expand having doubled its stocks of
single modular buildings.

Bendalls Engineering in Carlisle,
for example, needed a self-contained
office building as an alternative to
constructing new accommodation.

This was to be located on a steel
platform inside its factory. Foremans
supplied a second hand 34ft single
Portakabin building to provide a
dedicated office.

Norman Addison, MD at Bendalls
Engineering, said: “The difference in
cost between new manufacture and a
pre-owned Foremans building was
considerable. However, having visited
Foremans’ centre and seen a lot of
buildings at first hand, we felt there
was very little difference in quality.”

The building was ready on time – it
is a good quality office and we are
very happy with it.”
