As part of the Safety Information Documents (SID) service, all Safety Data Sheets – either in CHIP or GHS – are obtained from the suppliers, and searched and checked by ESL. Completing a one-page questionnaire for each substance/process generates COSHH Assessment report and from these, WASP Sheets are created for all the products.

This provides employees and contractors with immediate access of up-to-date safety information documents whenever they need them.

Safety documents may be listed by name, customer’s reference number, department and once a document link is clicked, the document opens in PDF format in a new browser window or tab. The document search facility included in the package has the ability to look inside PDF files for Safety Data Sheets and COSHH reports to find otherwise obscure data. COSHH reports can include links back to relevant sections on the HSE website as well.
