Safer manual handling
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is particularly aware of the risks involved with manual handling and how this can cause back injuries and muscoskeletal disorders that have a health and financial impact on workers and their employers.
As one of the longest running providers of manual handling training in the UK, it emphasises how simple measures can prevent accidents caused by lifting either routine or awkward loads, as well as the pushing and pulling of heavy products or equipment.
A BTEC Level 3 Manual Handling Trainers course provides delegates with a qualification equivalent to an A-level while also blending theory with easy to understand practical sessions. Consisting of two-day sessions across the UK and distance learning, the course is particularly suitable for managers, supervisors, instructors, training officers and safety professionals, equipping them with the ability to return to their workplace and deliver bespoke manual handling to other employees.
