Red dot for ear defenders
Judged by a panel of 37 experts, a ‘red dot award: product design 2013’ was awarded to the Peltor X Ear Defenders series from 3M at a red dot gala ceremony in Essen.
The red dot jury commented: “Safety and comfort share equal weight in the design of the Peltor X from 3M. The colourful edge gives this hearing protection solution a distinctive visual highlight.”
The range consists of five models offering increasing levels of protection. Each is available as a headband or helmet-mounted version. All are colour-coded to provide easy recognition between levels.
