Energy savings of up to 50%
The new GA 7-15 kW VSD+ compressor range from Atlas Copco is said to give users energy savings of up to 50% compared to traditional fixed speed compressors.
The compressor is 15% more efficient than Atlas Copco’s current variable speed drive compressor (the GA 7-37 VSD), and is said to provide a leap in Free Air Delivery (FAD) of 12%.
Energy efficiency is made possible, says Atlas Copco, by the use of its own interior permanent magnetic (iPM) motors which drive, and form the heart, of the new GA 7-15 VSD+ compressor range.
