System meets stringent standards

With sales of its Vector unit up by 25% on last year, Fortress Technology is reinforcing the message that the combined metal detector / conveyor system complies with all retailer standards, including the guidelines outlined in the updated Code of Practice for metal detectors set by Marks & Spencer (M&S).

Sarah Ketchin, Fortress Technology’s MD, says:  “There has been a misconception within the industry in recent months that only certain competitor metal detection equipment complies with M&S requirements.  We’re obviously keen to correct that inaccuracy and to let customers know that Fortress Technology produces equipment that matches and, in fact, exceeds the highest standards set within metal detection.”

Fortress’s Vector all-in-one conveyor / metal detector system ticks all of the boxes – from initial presentation through to the accurate rejection of a contaminated product, including all the failsafes to ensure system integrity.

The system comes with a Stealth control panel developed so future redesigns and upgrades to the machine can be retrofitted to older models, ensuring that spare parts and improvements for additional functionality are readily available.
