Award. Entering the Engineering
category with its Pump Audit Tool,
Grundfos demonstrated that pumps
are the largest user of electricity in
industrial and commercial
applications in the UK, consuming
47.4kWh of electricity, which
represents some 32% of all electric
motor consumption in
industry/commerce.

The Pump Audit Tool measures
the overall efficiency of pumps in
situ. A report then details options to
help a system operate more efficiently.
