Liquidline connections used to be made only of dezincification-resistant brass. This alloy was designed especially for closed coolant circuits. However brass is not suitable for every application. In circuits with aluminium heat sinks, aluminium connections are also needed, in order to prevent electrolytic corrosion of the aluminium cooler.

Liquid coolers are often made of aluminium due to the high thermal conductivity of the material and generally remain in service for several years. To guarantee reliable connection technology, compatible materials have to be used. For these applications, the 2500 series of Liquidline has now been expanded to include threaded connections made of corrosion-resistant aluminium.

The 2500 series comprises threaded connections with a full nominal diameter. They are suitable for motion-intensive applications requiring solid connections with maximum holding power or for applications with increased strain on the hoses. The reliability of the hose connections also pays off in the case of high pressure fluctuations. For the new version, Eisele uses the special corrosion-resistant material EN AW-AlSi1MgMn.
