The apps are marketed on a B2B basis designed for specific customer requirements. They are integrated with a web service that enables information to be ‘pushed’ or ‘pulled’ to or from a mobile device. This enables companies to channel to and retrieve information from remote sites and mobile staff. 

Uploading data from devices to the web service ensures secure storage of the data in the event of loss or damage to the device and, when required, printed documents can be created on site using a wireless (Bluetooth) pocket sized A4 printer.

SMS says it chose the Android OS for its flexibility in relation to design, distribution, device features, security and multi-tasking.

It is currently offering several apps available for customisation including:Risk Assessments, On site inspections and Distribution of H&S guidelines and procedures.
