Field Installable Conec M12 connectors from In2Connect UK have been upgraded to improve handling, making it easier for users to self-assemble or repair actuator and servo cables in house.

In2Connect UK offer the full range of Conec field installable and over moulded M8 and M12 connectors and mating sockets and panel plug.

To improve ease of installation, the connecting area in the M12 field attachable A, B and D coded connectors has been increased from 0.25 to 0.75mm2. Bigger heads to the wire clamping screws offer a simplified and safe connection of wires. Standard screwdriver sizes can now be used.

The connection itself has been changed to create robust handling with a bigger clamping torque and is said to achieve better retention of the wires. All components in the range are available as male or female connector, straight or angled with 4 and 5 poles and rated to IP67 in the mated condition or by the addition of a waterproof end cap over an unmated connection.
