Intended primarily for walkway lighting in industrial and commercial settings, the poles are telescopically adjustable between 1.5 and 3m. An internal vertical spring assists in taking the load when the column is raised or lowered.

With a single bolt fastening, a lighting maintenance worker can single-handedly lower the lighting pole for lamp changes or maintenance and complete the job in less than 30min as scaffolding, cherry pickers and so on are not required. ILS calculates that, even allowing for the cost of new V-Spring poles, immediate savings of more than 50% can be realised, with future maintenance costs cut by more than 90%.

The poles are available as hot dipped galvanised, aluminium and stainless steel, and there is the option of a weather-protected coating for any environment.

They are designed to withstand a wind rating of 320mph and can be mounted on any walkway, hand rail or wall. Supplied fully assembled and pre-wired, the poles offer 360° rotation of light fittings.
