ABB has indicated that the packages will be modular and cost-effective, enabling companies to easily install or to upgrade them into a robotic welding system. Furthermore, Kemppi equipment will be featured at all certified ABB Robotics welding lab locations, enabling customers to conduct robotic welding trials on the latest equipment.

These joint business ventures will cover Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, and this co-operation is non-exclusive. 

ABB FlexArc robotic welding cells are complete robot systems available in several flexible and versatile standard modular packages, while the KempArc welding system automation range allows flexible configuration to suit customers’ specific demands. The range is designed for automated MIG/MAG welding; two power classes are available – 350 and 450A. Each offers a wide range of welding curves for Pulse or Synergic MIG/MAG welding, ensuring a quick set-up.
