The re-engineered 86/87R Series is said by the company to be quieter, more durable and suitable for virtually any laboratory application. In addition, it can be combined to create JUN-AIR complete compressor systems with 4 or 25L receiver tanks. 

The 86/87R extends the company’s range of rocking pistons and features a patented crossover chamber design, which causes air to decelerate as it enters the crossover and accelerate as it exits. This dampens the sound and optimises performance, while delivering a wide range of pressure level options. The result is a rocking piston that is said to reduce noise output by more than 5 decibels compared to previous models.
